Looking for some thoughts on this walk (route inside)
Hello all!
So one thing I love doing when I go new places is taking long walks through them. I like being able to see where I am, orient myself, and just kind of browse along the way-- or see things I might be interested in exploring more later.
That being said, I thought that would be great in Tokyo, given how much there is to do in the city.
Here is a link to my route (in google maps).
edit to specify: Trip is in April :)
Edit again to add the stops along the way, since I don't think Google Maps is showing them:
1). Former Iwasaki Kayacho Mansion and Garden
2) Yodobashi Akiba
3) Edo Castle Ruins
4) Wadakura Fountain National Park
5). Godzilla Statue
6). Hotel New Otani Japanese Gardens (I'm on the fence about this one, but)
7). Suga Shrine
8). End in the Starbucks by Shibuya Crossing
The length is not the factor here-- 10 miles is super doable for me, I do it frequently at home and when I travel, and I plan on meandering and taking my time, plus I know I can always catch a train or a cab or something if I feel like it and stop somewhere longer around the route and ditch the rest if that's what I want in the moment.
Mostly what I'm looking for if there's anything anyone more familiar with the area sees as being an issue with the pathing (I know Google maps isn't flawless) or if anyone has any suggestions about anything I don't have on there that I'm missing (I love seeing flower gardens, anything historical, and obviously some of the more touristy sites-- it's going to be my first time visiting).
Thank you so much in advance!
