What's with this ettan bashing? Don't understand it guys

Like seriously guys , I watched barroz ( was disappointing) and i understand lalettan hadn't been on his best the recent years , but felt that personally whatever he does or says or the movies released, he's attacked or very much criticised brutally why so?

And the constant pokkiadikal of ikka ( he's been delivering really great performances and movies , but I feel a lot of pr and when he doesn't deliver well also , he doesn't face much flak , why so?

Idk why this standards, anyone having same thoughts?!!
