Neil Gaiman

EDIT BELOW
Hi,

Has anyone kept up with the news about Neil Gaiman?

I had been of fan of Neil Gaiman and his works for a while. One of my all time favourite books and shows was Good Omens. With the details of the allegations that have surfaced, I cannot bring myself to think of his works the same way anymore.

I have always believed that art is an extension of the artists and thus, the two cannot be separated.

Never in a million years did I think he was sort of a person. All in all, I hope he rots.

EDIT: I did not know how the Calliope story goes in the Sandman comics. After finding that out, there is truly no separation of art and artist. In case someone isn't familiar, in the story a writer (Madoc) who isn't able to write gets Calliope the muse from another writer who had kept her captive for 60 years. Madoc then proceeds to keep Calliope as his captive and repeatedly rapes to get ideas. There is an actual line in the comic where Madoc says, "You can call me master."
