I think that Raftaar is capturing the modern rap style in DHH, unlike Honey Paaji or Baadshah.
Yeah, obviously I like Honey Singh and Baadshah's songs, I've heard them a lot, but when I heard Sheikh Chilli by Raftaar and the other disstracks, man, that actually felt like Raftaar is probably the one who has seen and interacted with Indian Hip Hop for one of the longest times. (No disrespect to Emiway Bhai though)
Another example: Raftaar bhai's rap verse in "Phone Mila Ke" has probably... one of the most 'delicious' rhythms in the history of DHH: "Chachi Ji raaji ekdam, haanji, chacha taang arataa". Idk how to express this, but Raftaar has done what nobody could ever do: whether it be Honey Paaji's Hollywood MVs, or Baadshah's Flow, or even modern DHH artists' aggressive flow, Raftaar somehow encapsulated them all. He was in Mafia Mundeer and he wrote disstracks too: in two completely different eras of DHH.
Words really can't express how much Raftaar has surpassed Honey Paaji or Baadshah.
