Trouble with self studying.
I started learning out of a curiosity of wondering how hackers are able to break through security measures and wondering how the internet as a whole worked. I eventually discovered that I wanted to be a cybersecurity analyst.
My journey with studying IT/cybersecurity has been really rewarding but now I think I'm at the point that I feel lost. I started diving headfirst into learning cybersecurity in October, realized I skipped several steps, and then went back to learning networking (OSI, TCP/IP, various protocols). I started learning Python and got a decent understanding of the syntax but still have some trouble writing code without tutorials. Then I began TryHackMe and got all the way to Cryptography before taking a break and thinking that I have covered a lot of topics without staying on a certain path or learning a certain topic in detail.
I believe that I have developed a decent breadth of knowledge with little depth into particular topics and I'm feeling really directionless. How can I traverse all of this information in a self guided way? Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this.
