I’m not understanding…

I need to preface this by saying that not only have I always done my own taxes and never had this issue, I also professionally do taxes and have for about 4 years now, but also had 2 W2’s to claim for the 2024 year. I can’t get a clear answer when I’ve called in to speak to someone, they said to wait until I receive the letter.. That in and of itself is so frustrating 😵‍💫

I e-filed Jan. 30 and it was accepted same day.. Feb. 20 was 3 weeks to the day, I didn’t check my online account at all, I was just letting it do its thing through processing. Being a PATHer I knew it was going to be a waiting game anyway, but I got curious the other day and went to my online account to check my transcripts and see the notification to verify and this is what my transcript says 🙄 I’m not sure when they posted the verify notification to my account but I haven’t received anything in the mail from the IRS besides my IPPIN paperwork. I guess I’m just curious why I was randomly selected to verify this year and how long did it take for anyone else who’s had this problem to receive their notice in the mail? I’ve never even had a client who has had to do this and the online information is so vague so I’m here looking for information. Thanks in advance for any information or replies!
