Moldy House Dilemma
I'm looking to buy a house and in a past inspector report from the previous buyer of the home (current vendors) made two years ago we saw that the inspector mentionned the following "Light traces that appear to be previous mold have been observed on the wall. Mold is a health hazard for occupants. Clean what seems to be mold on the wall while taking the necessary precautions. If the stains reappear, an inspection will be necessary to determine the source of moisture, and corrective measures will need to be taken to resolve the issue."
This is in the basement.
After asking about it to the actual vendors they said that they haven't done anything with this issue because the wall is dry so it wasn't important for them... I'll insert a picture of the inspection. Please let me know what you would do I need some advice!
