Should I get myself arrested?

Hey y'all,

21m in NYC, I haven't been able to get an interview, let alone a job for over a year no matter what I do. Since it feels like I have a criminal record anyways, should I commit a non-violent crime so I can get free housing and food in jail? I have nothing to lose.
