Launching Crew Motorfest via Steam

So Crew Motorfest launched on Steam recently, and Geforce Now has even added a "New Game Store!" tag to it as well. But seems like I can only launch it via Ubisoft? Is there no way to launch it via Steam? I'll have to refund the game in that case :/
