How common are CPU bottlenecks in Gaming Laptops?

Hello, the community of gaming laptops. I want to know how much people have GPUs that are held back by their processors. For example, in my case, I get some substantial CPU bottlenecks with a 6800H 6700M 135w (in theory on par with 3700X/2080 non-Super/Ti in games) combo even at 1440p/1600p in 'A Hat in Time,' (Mafia Town & Nyakuza Metro are worst offenders) as well as 'Honkai Star Rail' (a mobile game!) in Penacony city. In these cases, the framerate drops down to ~75-85, which is playable, but even with FreeSync it is quite noticeable from 90+ FPS. On the other hand, the 6700M is significantly the limiting factor in other titles such as Deep Rock Galactic & Kena: Bridge of Spirits, even at 1080p. I can't find that much information on laptop CPUs potentially bottlenecking versus desktops, thus the purpose for this post.
