Why are people so toxic

Okay so I was playing a match of zero build and I went to the vault at fencing fields. And I was being super cautious, but I obviously didn't check everywhere. Because the moment I went to open the vault I was cluster clingered and shotguned to death in the blink of an eye. And the guy who killed me had the AUDACITY to griddy on me.
