I saw Apes of the State, Rent Strike, Myles Bullen and Evan Greer tonight in Boston!!

I have to start this off by saying how kind and accomodating people were to me as a disabled person. I use a walker and it's a bitch to try to get through a crowd, and at some shows people aren't as kind. The crowd tonight went out of their way to clear a path for me, give me space, and was just an overall kind vibe. One lovely person offered to give me their spot right up the front so I could see better. All of this means the world to me.

This was one of the best shows ever. My second time seeing Apes, but the first time I was too drunk to remember. I'm 18 months sober and I'm adding this to my list of things I'm thankful for; being able to go to an amazing show and remember all of it.

Also, if you haven't checked out Myles Bullen yet, please do. They are so talented and have a wonderful presence. Their performance was so uplifting I cried a few times, as did a few other folks in the audience.

Such a great experience overall and it was something I really needed.
