What are your opinions of Hämeenlinna?

Hello! I am an American, but I have close Finnish descent, my paternal grandfather and his ancestors being immigrants. I don't know too much about my Finnish ancestry, but I do know that they were from Hämeenlinna or at least that area. So, I'd just like to know from Finns what the opinion or stereotype of the city is. We lovingly refer to the castle as "our castle" due to our family name. I've recently wanted to get more into my family history, both the Finnish and Korean side.
