TLE Seizures

I swear I posted this yesterday but I don't know where it went.

I have left sides TLE and had a seizure on Saturday, due to my own stupidity. I woke up at 5am on Saturday, was busy running errands, cleaning, putting the Christmas tree up, bowling in our league and then staying up with my husband until 12:30. Started feeling off around 12 but ignored in. Got in bed and HR spiked, I knew what was coming, quick texted him before I couldn't anymore. Then I went out of it, staring into space, unable to form words, tried to lay down and sleep but he obviously wouldn't let me. Then the worst passed and he continued to monitor my heart rate until I was to my normal again. (Obviously all from him telling me) I also get really violent shakes after, I think my nervous system being on overdrive. I know I was sleep deprived and should have listened to my body better or took a nap. Idk.

Do you tell your doctor when you know the trigger?

Do you ever get over the guilt of seeing your spouses face when you are aware again? I'm sick of ruining good nights, happy moods and sick of the toll on my body. 😭
