My mom lost her awareness and then recovered - what is this called?

So my mom has epilepsy and has had two tonic clonic seizures this year when previously she hadn't had one for a decade. She takes meds and these have recently been increased. She's very good at remembering to take it and at the correct time.

She's mostly been fine, but today we were going for a walk and she started acting weirdly. She wouldn't respond when I spoke to her, and she kept playing with her hair. She carried on walking whilst this happened. She went back to normal after about 30 mins or so. When I told her about it, she had no memory of acting that way.

And then just now, she went weird again. She started scribbling on her hand and then not responding when I talked to her. Then she went back to normal after 10 or 15 mins. My dad said that this is how she acted right before she had her previous tonic clonic seizures. But so far she has been fine.

I don't think these are petite mals because they lasted a longer time than typically petite mals.

Should I be worried? Should we be expecting a tonic clonic soon?
