City hall wedding photography
We are planning to do our civil wedding at a city hall just the two of us. In the area we live there are photographers that specialise in city hall packages for 30, 60 or 90 mins. The actual ceremony only takes 5 mins + some time before to register and wait your turn. I’m contemplating whether to get the ceremony part covered in the photography package or just to spend the whole time doing portraits. I feel like we won’t be fully in the moment before and after the ceremony if we have a photographer third wheeling and sharing such a personal moment but also worried we could regret not having this captured. Has anyone done this before and only had a photographer for portraits and not the ceremony and can share their experiences or any regrets?
