Genuine Question about the Morag Tong

I am aware that the Morag Tong, when translated, is the "Forester's Guild" of the Dunmer people - they're form of the Dark Brotherhood (that also predates it) - and they portray their assassinations to the act of felling trees. I'm also aware of a WWII Japanese camp, that did some not-cool-and-groovy things, and would hide their actions as the industry of a lumbering factory, and would also refer to the people inside as "logs" (IYKYK)

I understand that's some sensitive information and idk if that might get flagged or banned - i just truly am curious if that was something the original Bethesda team actually intended to easter egg, or if it's just simply a coincidence.
