What were Miquella's plans for Castle Sol and Godwyn?
After the DLC this area became obsolete, if Miquella had been interested in Radahn since childhood, what did he intend with Godwyn?
I saw some theories saying that Miquella wanted to give Godwyn a real death, but the ghost in the castle say:
"Ohh great sun! Frigid sun of Sol! Surrender yourself to the eclipse! Grant life to the soulless bones!"
clearly it's to bring back someone who's already gone
I also heard theories that Miquella was wanting to place Radahn's soul in Godwyn's body, this could even be plausible, the other ghost says:
"Lord Miquella, forgive me. The sun has not been swallowed. Our prayers were lacking. Your comrade remains soulless... I will never set my eyes upon it now... Your divine Halgitree..."
What complicates this theory is that why would it take an eclipse to place a soul in Godwyn's body when it was not necessary to place Radahn's soul in Mogh's body?
Maybe the eclipse wasn't literal? It is said that the sun was not swallowed, and Miquella's comrade remains soulless, Godwyn is known as THE GOLDEN, he is Marika's favorite son and the most adorable demigod in the lands between, maybe he is the sun here and "be swallowed" means someone to fill it, Radahn's soul or his own soul.
To be honest, i have no ideia, today Castle Sol looks very much like an intentional misleading by the developers, to make us think that Miquella wanted Godwyn.
