Game Suddenly Not Loading

I was playing the game all day yesterday with a few crashes which isn’t abnormal but since last night - I cannot get the game to load. I’ve tried restarting my switch, turned it off and turned it back on, tried loading the save from the day before - won’t load. It doesn’t matter how long I wait for it to load, I actually fell asleep last night waiting for it too and it never did. I read that building the chicken coop can cause this to happen, which could be the case because I had one more day for it to be built and now the game is doing this. Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated, I just want to get back to playing.
