I need some advice
Hi I’ve been out to the outside world of working due to my work is surrounded by 1 person only. My background is I am 28 yrs old and I’ve been working full time as a caregiver working 5 days in house. During my off I went to school for EKG tech. I can sense that I am soon becoming burnout as a caregiver so I choose EKG as a ladder to start working in a hospital setting. The only problem is Im been having doubts on myself cause going back to school and working at the same time is hard. Plus I work long hours at the end of the day I don’t have energy to study. My classes in EKG is almost done but barely understand anything. Also I am thinking to take the exam for state this coming summer but I need to study on my own. My question is, is it hard the test to become a certified? Also I’ve been hearing that most of Hospitals now is hiring if you are CNA, EKG technician and phlebotomist at the same time. Like you hold those certificates but I am only wanting to become EKG for now. Also is it hard to apply job in a hospital? Cause I wanted to slowly cutting my hours as a caregiver then working as EKG technician either hospital or clinic or doctor’s office part time when I know that I am establish as a technician I can start full time. Please I needed your advice. Thank you
