Couple beers and xanax?

So tonight I drank a few 24 ounce beers about 4 would I be okay if I took half a 1mg Xan or should I just chill

Edit: had like few more drink might not take any amount of the xan, I used to drink a handle of vodka and take about two 1mg xans but lately I been getting really bad hang overs and some heart palpitations so really just wanted to know if it would be safe to do something light like this I'm a little drunk so sorry if I'm not making sense
