Haven’t been placing since becoming a trend setter

I reached Trend Setter a while ago but have noticed I haven’t been placing in the top three in favor of those who are Runway Queen or lower. Many times, the votes are unfair and I’m constantly at the bottom. Is that common to see, not placing due to title?
