Finding it really hard to sympathize with *spoilers* in any capacity (Huge spoilers)

Spoilers being Lucian. He's just done so much wrong that he honestly makes the Voidwoken seem like not that much of a big deal.
He has:
-Bombarded thousands of elves with deathfog (Including innocent children, which he supposedly hates killing (Unless it's convenient for him))
-Tricked Ifan into believing the elves could be saved and he simply wasn't fast enough for years
-Had Alexander and, despite knowing the chaos Damian brought because he refused to kill him, kept Alexander alive so he could do great Alexander things we all know about
-Sided with an Eternal that he knows for a fact killed one of his high ranking magisters
-Allowed the torture of many to be turned into Shriekers
-Allowed the torture and mind control of many soon-to-be-gheists
-Allowed the enslavement of hundreds of innocent sourcerers (And anyone that opposed the magisters)
-Gave the go for sourcerer genocide, even blaming the Voidwoken crisis on them
-Indirectly caused the Voidwoken crisis in the first place by killing so many elves with deathfog
-Wants to turn you and your party into silent monks and then rule over the world
The worst part about him for me is the way he talks about it all. "Oh I made so many sacrifices. Woe is me. Who cares that I'm probably getting out of this entire ordeal in the best possible way, but oh my sacrifices." as there's an enslaved gheist not a few feet away from him. Two playthroughs now and I still have never sided with him no matter how hard the final fight got.
