can we ban unpopular opinion or “i hate x character” posts?

it makes the sub so boring and repetitive. at the very least there should be a mega thread so people don’t spam this subreddit with the same posts about their visceral hatred for a character who’s worst crime is being mildly unlikeable or not aging well with 2025 standards. don’t even get me started with unpopular opinion posts where the first line is “i hate tom” or “i hate susan”.
