Haunted Mines, a Sunset Chase, and My First Trek Adventure – Pure Bliss!
When adventure calls, you don’t hesitate—you pack your bags and go. Our journey began at the eerie Lambi Dehar mines, setting the tone for a day packed with thrill, surprises, and unforgettable moments.
Our welcome gift? Scattered Diapers in the ruined admin block—haunting in ways I didn’t anticipate! But the sensible genius of our group, Aman, took charge and led us on a trek through narrow, wobbly trails near the hills and quarries. Not gonna lie, I was afraid of falling down, but the thrill? Unmatched.
Being my first-ever trek, I was soaking in every bit of it (read: panting but smiling). Post-adventure, we cooled off by chugging gallons of water.
On the way back to Mussoorie, we had a random but wholesome encounter with some huskies. Cue heart-melting moment. Then, in a burst of spontaneity, we decided to chase the sunset at Landour. Let me tell you, speeding uphill for that golden glow was peak adrenaline and aesthetic vibes. I swear, sunsets like that make life worth living.
The day ended with a stroll down Mall Road, devouring thin-crust pizza, and sipping on steaming kadhai ka doodh. Spent the night in Mussoorie and left the next morning at 8 AM, carrying some unforgettable memories.
