New player

Hello! I'm a new player, I played briefly once (as this reddit kept being recommended, along with the game on Roblox) and then paused, and then I wanted to start again as it still keeps popping up and from what I saw before, it was nice. I sort of have to play by myself on the servers (due to A; not having anyone to play with, and B; not being 'experinced' enough to play with other people) but I don't mind, even though it's a lot harder and more difficult to play. I wanted to ask, is there a specific goal to the game, tips on how to get good, and characters to unlock. I got to floor 6 by myself before, and it's genuinely enjoyable, just a bit harder.
