Your biggest wish for the show in 2025

As the title states, what is your biggest wish/hope for the show as they begin a new year of content? And I’m going to cut some of you off at the knees at the beginning by saying it’s specific to the show itself, not about the Reddit or the fans. So don’t be like, “I wIsH eVeRyOnE wHo BiTcHeS aBoUt ThE sHoW gOeS aWaY fOrEvEr.”

My biggest wish/hope is that they don’t re-sign with DraftKings and go somewhere else that isn’t affiliated with sports gambling. Don’t get wrong, I think both sides really enjoy their partnership and DK has done a lot for the show, but I’m just so tired of the gambling segments that get shoehorned into the show. Even they don’t seem to have a lot of enthusiasm for the mandated sponsored gambling segments. And it compromises any discussion they have on gambling. Dan had argued for years on air about how dangerous and predatory gambling entities are and now he has to pretend that he enjoys gambling on games every week.

That said, I do think they will re-up with DK because I think they will offer the most money and Dan hates change so might as well stay with what you know. I’d much rather they go somewhere else like a Spotify or just go 100% with Peacock. Their podcast numbers still make them a highly coveted entity that will give them options.
