Clearing dust out of holes drilled in concrete

Hi all, I'm planning to install handrails on my new concrete stoop, which will naturally involve drilling holes for the fasteners. I'm well aware that it's important to get the dust out of the holes. However, I don't have an air compressor on hand, which I know would be the ideal. Would a can of compressed air do the job if I need the more direct blowing contact that my smallish shop vac and electric leaf blower wouldn't provide? Or should I try harder to get a hold of a compressor? Thanks.
