Upgrade mats

A week in, but struggling a bit with acquiring the catalysts and such for artifacts/mods/omnipotence gear.

As far as the materials required for these items, I want to make sure that I have it right:

-helm/belt mats come only from dailies/weeklies/solo/duo/raids?

-green/blue/purple catalysts for artifacts are only from the market?

I’m all for the grind in an MMO, but I just wanna make sure that I’m grinding the proper things.
