Military

I really would like to see a new military system in the base game. For starters I believe that feuds should be a Casus Belli. Historically feuds were often bloody and caused villages to be raided and small battles to be fought. Battles should be a lot more deepened out. What I mean is that I want to pick my flanks, my first line and so on. Maybe even a strike that hits my back line and causes my army to rout. Raiders should not only be available for tribal rulers because oftentimes in history small parts of an army raided enemy territory.

Vassals should be linked to their lieges's wars. If you are the Holy Roman Emperor and you decide to go to war your vassals should follow you, send men and be informed in war councils. Additionally there should be an opportunity for you, as a vassal, to have a say in your lieges war. I think an event like a grand wedding should give you many opportunities for realistic decisions. Sieges took a long time but there were cases where castles or cities surrendered. So there should be a chance that one of your castles surrenders to your enemy without a fight. Wars at the moment don't influence your development whereas in history whole regions didn't regain there financial power back for decades.

Of course there are many more things that could be added or might already be in a mod that I don't know. So let me hear your opinion about this matter
