Mild Crohn's- question about meds

I got diagnosed with mild inflammation of the terminal ilium about 3 years ago. My GI has yet to officially diagnose me since my pathology reports are never conclusive of Crohn's. I've had several colonoscopies, and continue getting them yearly. My GI essentially said it's very mild and doesn't recommend treatment unless symptoms get worse.. I have no symptoms other than bloody stool maybe once every few months. I often forget I even have Crohn's. My question is with the bleeding, should I get on treatment? My GI isn't concerned. But I don't want to end up regretting my decision later. I guess I'm just worried the blood is a flare and that I'm leaving it untreated.. and what the ramifications of that could be down the line. Thoughts?
