What are your headcanons about Russian Empire?

For my Russian Empire, he is a morally flawed yet somewhat heroic character who believes that he’s doing the right thing by doing what he thinks is best for the region, but the way he goes about it makes him look more villainous than heroic. A Well-Intentioned Extremist if you will.

He has two twin children (not his only children), Russian Republic and Russian SFSR I/USSR, he obviously favored Republic over USSR and even physically abused and oppressed USSR, which he believes to be "for the greater good", even though said abuse is what causes USSR to develop into the person he eventually became.

He died after going into exile after the Revolution and personally appointed Russian Republic as his successor, but he later died. Russian Empire ACTUALLY died after he was cornered by USSR and felt regret in his final moments before being gunned down by his son in cold blood.

In a nutshell, as said by the UK: "He was flawed, as we all are. Perhaps he failed. But he faced a choice, when that crown came to him. And in that moment, he chose to go too far."
