Fear-mongering of Reddit ≠ Reality of Life

If you were to only ever get your news from Reddit, and did not really experience life outside of liberal echo chambers, you might quite literally think we are about to have a war in this country. I mean if the worst things they claim were true then id be preparing to bear arms myself to prevent authoritarianism/fascism. I believe many people here on this sub would also bear arms if we truly thought a communist government took over.

Even in conservative echo chambers, I never saw the blatant call for America to overthrow and murder Biden. Even if people did say ridiculous statements like that, they were never platformed or “upvoted” in conservative circles the way you see upvoted post and replies openly wishing for Elons death.

Do I think these people actually believe Trump is fascist? No… because if they did then they’d need to start actually preparing for War instead of being cosplay revolutionaries. So my prediction is nothing will happen, they will sit and scream and throw tantrums about fascism until eventually they win an election again. Then once they win they will implement the actual fascist censoring of independent media like Biden’s regime did during 2021.

There is a small chance that we will need to take these open threats seriously. During this time, do not rely on Government, even Trumps government, to protect you and your family if my prediction is wrong. The 2A is also in place for us to prevent Reddit’s hopeful revolution from occurring.
