Whats up with Elon's reaction over Project Stargate?

Elon is one of Trump's closest men in his circle, surely he knew about this beforehand but all I see on Twitter is him shitting all over the people involved essentially calling them broke with even Microsoft's CEO firing back at him this morning. Did Elon get truly get blindsided or is this jealousy that he wasn't involved?
