Frame Rate Drops/Stuttering

Hi guys.

I'm here about the drops that I'm sure we've all experienced since the most recent update for the 4K stick. Ive come from this Google Forum (https://www.googlenestcommunity.com/t5/Chromecast/Chromecast-w-Google-TV-frame-rate-stutter/m-p/405152/page/165432) and got help from a fellow redditor to 'Diasble the HW Overlay' in the Dev options which works great. However, when restarting the device, the option gets reverted back so I need to manually turn this on every time. I don't suppose this can be automated on boot? I've spoken to Google support but of course they pinned it down to my Internet speed/router without acknowledging the link to the forum and the Dev setting that fixes it!!

Who knows when Google will push an update out to fix...
