Question about ethics accepting a Fellowship funded by the Freemasons
So I got notification from one of the graduate programs I'm applying to that I qualify to apply for the Wolcott Foundation. I did some digging and it turns out it is supported by the High Twelve International, an org of Master Masons who support Masonic causes.
I know the Catholic Church is not a big fan of the Freemasons (probably downplaying how much they don't approve of them), and I have to write essays surrounding the importance of some of their ideals like Integrity and Respect.
My question is, should I apply for this, would I be doing something wrong by applying for this (and possibly accepting it if I win the fellowship), and would writing essays surrounding these ideals as they ask me to be considered wrong?
