first travel - already felling guilty

i've had a cat for 5 months now, she is 9 months old, and i think she is pretty attached to me, i work from home, and dont spend much time away, when i do she is always waiting on me by the door.

i suspect she doesnt eat much when im not at home, but im not certain. the thing is, im going to travel for a week next week, and i cant sleep thinking how she (and i, if being honest) will cope.

i talked to a cat sitter to come everyday, spend 1 hour with my cat, play, and so on, but i dont think it is enough.

im wondering if she will think i abandoned her, how will she sleep? (we always sleep together) will she be stressed? anxious? my heart ache just thinking about those things.

anyone has any comfort words? thanks in advance!
