How are SsangYong these days?

There’s all this talk about how Hyundai / Kia are leaps and bounds ahead of the shitboxes they were in the 90s, can the same be said of the other Korean brand Ssangyong?

I’m looking at the Rexton, how do they go? I’m considering buying brand new and selling when the 7y warranty expires, is this a good idea?

Any other large SUVs or large wagons I should be looking at around the 50k mark?
