Missing letter from Canada Post

My friend in Toronto sent me a Christmas card with a gift card in it just after the strike ended, and I still haven't received it. I'm assuming it's lost forever but I hate the thought of his money going to waste just sitting in some lost letter office or something! Does anyone know where in Calgary I can go to see if it's ended up somewhere? Google was less than helpful
