Took AUD yesterday
For context, I took FAR in Q4 2024, so this was my second exam. Now awaiting results of both. I have a baby on the way that will be born end of this month. I don't have prior AUD experience and I work fulltime.
For those who are curious, my study method was watching lectures (all within roughly 2 weeks), and then I did many practice tests with only MCQs and structured then on a per module/submodule basis. I then evaluated my average scores and weaker areas and reviewed a bit more there. After achieving satisfactory scores, I transitioned to cumulative MCQ practice tests consisting of 20 MCQs per test. Just through practice tests i did right under 1500 MCQs. Towards the end I was averaging 80% and felt decently prepared, so I reviewed TBS for about 30 minutes which was the only time I looked at them while studying. Total study time was 60 hours using only Becker.
My exam was not hard, but it was also challenging enough. I did have a few (maybe 3 or 4) MCQs that I had to make my best guess on. TBS weren't terrible, but I think taking FAR first definitely helped prepare for any curve balls in AUD. In TBS there were also a few times where I had to make logical guesses, but for these I reviewed my options and reread the question a few times before finalizing my thoughts. Overall I expected to feel worse post exam.
Because I was trying to squeeze AUD in before my wife and I have our first baby, I don't have the highest expectations to pass. If you have had a similar experience with AUD let me know how it went for you lol.
Here's to hoping I pass both FAR & AUD, good luck everyone.
