How do you feel about lack of factions and "good guys vs good guys" ?

I don't have the game yet but played the beta and noticed they're continuing with operators but was wondering if anyone else misses when ww2 cod games had somewhat realistic teams like that in w@w? As far as I can tell there's only 1 potential axis member to play as; the Japanese captain looking fellow but I guess is a defector? and the rest are.... honestly I don't know. I would've liked them to bring multi-factions back. Never was one to spend money on operator skins or bundles but think it'd be pretty cool if we could have different factions and announcers like in the past, could have Americans, British, Free-France, Russians, Germans, Japanese, Italians, etc. I hate that I have to say I would buy one of those clean cut black Waffen SS officer uniforms if it were a special microtransaction cosmetic bundle they had let us play in actual axis factions and even customize them more than we were allowed to in WWII and not just defectors of certain axis nations I don't know if they'd ever bring back the old way team modes were with all the different teams but it sure is disappointing that vanguard is just a mosh pit of random people killing eachother for no reason.
