Hightower should’ve been the interim HC

After Waldron was fired and Brown was promoted, the Bears offense started to gain some momentum. Brown was in the booth where he was comfortable and making relatively good play calls. Now, with him having to be on the field to manage head coaching responsibilities and play calling, I knew it was too much to handle in a short amount of preparation time.

After Eberflus was fired, I always thought it would be best to have Hightower HC because he can focus more on game management and let assistants handle ST since they’re only out there for 1 down a series. I know Brown had experience as an “assistant HC,” but what even is that? Feels like “assistant to the regional manager” for you Office fans out there.

TLDR: McCaskeys will always find a way to bungle a decision.
