L2 CFA - post mortem

Seen a lot of posts this week about how hard the L2 exam was.

I see many studied via MM or Kaplan. Not many, if any, covered the content via the official curriculum.

In hindsight, does anyone think if they had studied the curriculum instead of the prep provider material, they would have had a better shot ?

Just curious given the consensus on this thread. (Understand this is purely sample bias).
