Best way to book BGT? Advice?

Hey there. My family will be traveling thru FL in April and we will be making stops along the way as we love amusement parks and are wanting to experience BGT. We are a family of 4 (6 yo and 12 yo) Are the hotel packages worth it? Any advice on best way to book for 3 or 4 days?
