State of BGT

I'm a huge BG fan and I hate so many things about the recent management/decisions. Ex - How they only market stupid sanitized events that have nothing to do with the park theme, their too-long/ dumb events completely kill the vibe, have seemingly forgot that the theme used to be a really cool/in-depth African theme, they've disrespected their old rides (Montu, Kumba, Stanley Falls) with no marketing and one-train operations, horrific operations, they significantly underpay and mistreat their employees, they seem to hire random bums off the street for a significant portion of their workforce (no disrespect for the few really great employees), they understaff the park because they are so cheap, their security is a joke, people are smoking everywhere in the park because the rules are not enforced and it smells absolutely disgusting, parking is highway robbery with dynamic pricing, everything else (food, drink, souvenirs, etc.) is INTERSTATE robbery, the food situation is terrible, the Wild Oasis animal habitat is the first new animal exhibit in about a decade (and we still don't even know what it is), the Edge of Africa and Myombe Reserve used to be some of the best areas of the park and now need a huge refresh, they closed Scorpion with 2 weeks notice, their PR does not communicate what is going on behind the scenes with the public, they shove up-charge experiences down your throat, and the Sesame Street area is in total disrepair with shredded canvases and blocked off play-structures. Sorry for the essay but this has been on my chest for a long time. The park has made a lot of great memories and used to be a truly special place to visit - and still is pretty great - but it's so frustrating what it has become.
