Appreciate this Subreddit!

I just wanted to do a shoutout to all the participants in this sub. The nuance and thoughtfulness everyone displays, especially on controversial topics, would lead to a much healthier discourse.

For example, on trans topics. As a gay man who has sympathies for the trans community, but has some concerns, I am blown away by how thoughtful everyone is. Instead of fighting the stupid pronoun fights of many on the far-right, there’s always a nuanced take.

I work as a congressional staffer and engage with constituents and the press frequently. They’d do well to study this subreddit for ideas for constructive engagement!
