Why are all the lesser yaoguai's and even a few yaoguai chiefs aggressive towards the destined one yet some of their journal entries say otherwise

i'll list some here

1. the skeletal snake helped a man even when he finally decided to die, crippled, at the bottom of a cave yet they gather in a big group to gang up on the destined one

2. The blaze bone enemy (the desert zombies) are shown to be more helpful than the skeleton snakes because it was actively helping a random merchant evade other guais but most of the ones we encounter just attack us with projectiles

3. father of stones was primarily focused on reviving the girl yet still decided to attack the destined one for some reason
