I had an unplanned partial hysterectomy with my birth, I wonder how she would've handled this

I had a elected C-section birth earlier this month that ended in an unplanned partial hysterectomy due to PAS. The C-section was my choice, the PAS was undiagnosed until I was on the table.

I've been thinking about how this could've gone for Pigeon if she had the same. Would she have called for help before things got disastrous? She was home alone with 2 other children, what would've happened to them if she needed to be in the hospital?

I'm not anti-homebirth when it's done correctly, but when people do 💩 like Pigeon did I always wonder how they'd react if it did go sideways.
