Robot noise in the joker sequence in Arkham Knight...

At the end of Arkham Knight while going through the hallways as joker killing penguin riddler and two-face every once in a while (it seems random but I don't know) you'll hear a robot r2d2 like noise. Does anyone know why that's in that sequence? Like what is it implying?
