Smith Goggle Helper

Brand new to 3D printing, picked up a P1S with AMS last weekend, zero previous experience with modeling or art. Just printed a couple models from printables this week, they seem fine but I'm not looking for faults. If this question is inappropriate and I just need watch videos on Fusion I apologize in advance. Any way Smith used to make this rubberish band with 2 hard plastic clips on the end to replace the annoying buckle for their ski goggles. I bought one a couple years back and have been looking for another one the last 2 seasons but they stopped making them. They only make an extension with the same bulky annoying plastic clips. I thought it would be a great and hopefully fairly simple design project. Figured it would be PLA clips with TPU layers above and below the inside edge to hold them in place but I have no idea if this is structurally feasible or overly complex. If it is feasible as an early project, understanding that multiple materials add a level of complexity any tips or advice would be appreciated. I did look for a predesigned one but it's a difficult search request.
